Last week I had the pleasure to perform at a show in the Osprey Hotel, Naas, Co. Kildare.
The show was organised by the Apple Green petrol stations and it was in aid of The Jack and Jill foundation. The show was a huge success and I was very proud and privileged to be a part of this wonderful event. The Jack and Jill do tremendous work for sick children around the country. Everyone had a great night of entertainment and fun with the proceeds going to Jack and Jill. It’s really interesting to realise that one can help so much even when having a great time. Yes helping can be fun.
I look forward to doing another show in the near future. My thanks to all those who took part and helped in so many ways. They made it an event that helped the Jack and Jill foundation raise a significant amount of money for these much loved children in their hour of need.
The teamwork and spirit of the voluntary workers tells me that the Jack and Jill Foundation will persist to help many future generations.
